SAFE, FLEXIBLE OPTIONS

for every school.

Wavy Line

Our flexible Book Fair options continue to be a success in remote, hybrid, and in-person school settings! Although the setup might look a bit different, thousands of schools across the country are able to safely experience the magic of a Scholastic Book Fair.

Students are feeling the joy and empowerment that comes with choosing a book, and significant funds are being raised. Let’s find the option (there are many!) that will work best for your school community:

IN-
PERSON

Fair solutions.

We're continuing to offer our full Fair option along with additional in-person options to solve for space, time, and people limitations—all with a Virtual Fair extension. Let the reading begin!

All in-person Fairs meet strict safety guidelines from the warehouse to your school. Read about safety practices and see our safety checklist.

FULL FAIR: We continue to offer our full Fair experience with our strict safety precautions in place. We're here to give your kids everything they know and love, and we're prepared to make it safe and easy for you.

For space constraints:

HALLWAY: We'll provide customized cases that can be lined up against a hallway wall and be closed at night. With no tables needed, this is an easy-to-implement, "one-direction" Fair in the event the library or auditorium is no longer available.

OUTDOOR: With lower transmission risk outside, this Fair allows for student and family participation! Plus, roll-out cases and fewer tables allow for a quick and easy setup. Kids can breathe in the fresh air while choosing their favorite titles.

Or time constraints:

QUICK SETUP: Two people and 30 minutes is all you need to experience the magic of a Fair. This option features fewer displays and tables but includes an inspiring book spread that will delight all readers. Are your students staying in designated areas this year? This setup is easy to move from one location to another.

GRADE FAIRS: Grade-grouping Fairs are perfect for schools returning with a limited number of grades back at a time. This option is easy to pair with any of our flexible formats, allowing for an extra layer of adaptability.

There is nothing our students look forward to more than our Scholastic Book Fairs! It's true, the return to school is very challenging, but the Book Fair provides a sense of normalcy that we all need, especially our students! It's also a time to bring a lot of fun and excitement to the simple things in life, like reading a great new book! Scholastic Book Fairs are a tremendous part of our school's culture. Our students look forward to the Fair's theme and what their librarian will wear each day! Somehow, we are going to make it happen! I can rest assured that the team at Scholastic Book Fairs is dedicated to making it the safest and easiest experience for us all!
